More Van Halen Goodness!!

Here are a few videos posted from Sunday's night's final Van Halen rehearsal. The audio isn't the best quality, but you can get an idea of what was going on there.

Busy Weekend!

This weekend we headed out to Palm Springs with Beau and Mary. We had a great time, first stopping at Palm Canyon for a quick hike through groves of palm trees and desert. Fortunately we got there early enough that it wasn't super hot and we were able to get some great pictures!



After that, we headed back to our hotel for drinks and swimming for the remainder of the sunny day, before getting ready to hit downtown Palm Springs for dinner.



Dinner was at L.G.'s Steakhouse and it was definitely one of the best steaks I have ever had. We all ate so much that we waddled around for the rest of the evening, being so full that we could barely breathe....



We returned home from the trip on Sunday afternoon and took a nice long 2 hour nap to prepare for the Sunday night event - we had been invited by my boss to attend the final dress rehearsal Friends and Family concert for Van Halen! We headed down to the Forum, which was very cool, and the boys really rocked! Diamond Dave was indeed larger than life, and Eddie can still wail on that guitar. If you consider yourself a fan of Van Halen - go see this tour - you will not be disappointed. Even Wolfie recovered from a minor voice crack early on and brought the rock.



Tonight we'll be lounging to fully recover and rest up, for this upcoming weekend is my Grandparents 50th anniversary party up north!

My HUGE Dilemma!

Okay, it's not really a dilemma, but I need to choose which of two new dress acquisitions I should wear to my grandparents 50th anniversary party coming up in less than two weeks! Please! Help me decide!
