One Week Down...

Well, it's definitely a change of pace working in an office, but now at 5:20 on Friday, I see what's so great about it. For two whole days - the same two days that John has off - I don't have to be at work....

No more hungover Sundays, no more lame work-related excuses for not going out on the weekends.....

Needless to say, so far so good.

Good News!

I got a new job today! It's an office position at a little accounting firm in West Hollywood! Regular hours (8:30am-5:30pm Monday through Friday) better money than Borders, and NOT RETAIL!

I start tomorrow afternoon at 1:30!

So I'm finally going to be free from retail!!!

My grandfather was talking about how when lightning strikes, there's a rock at the end of the bolt, and as it zig zags across the sky it gets bigger and bigger until it hits the ground. He was totally serious.

Christmas in February

We're heading up north to visit my family in just a bit! It will be so nice to get out of town for a couple of days and I can't wait to see my family!
