Back Already?!?

That's right, after only being gone for 38 hours, we have returned to our humble Hollywood abode ready to crash for the night after the whirlwind of events that have taken place in the aforementioned hours....

We left Hollywood around noon on Friday, and made it up to Los Altos Hills in just over 5 1/2 hours... Spent a lovely evening with my family celebrating what semblance of Christmas you can have six days early. It was quite nice, and we came away with some interesting booty - most notably an XBox and a Dijeridoo (how the hell do you spell that?)

This morning, we left my parents house, and ventured to Monterey for Matt and Meli's wedding. After some worse-than-I've-ever-seen-in-LA traffic crossing over cursed Highway 17, we arrived in Monterey and enjoyed the intimate, 20 guest (including bride, groom and bridal party) ceremony and reception before making the drive back to LA. It was a beautiful wedding and I want to wish Matt and Meli all the happiness in the world! (We were all just a little jealous that they are headed off to Germany and Spain for their honeymoon!)

But we survived, and had an eventful and pleasant, although exhaustingly brief visit to the Northern Lands. I SWEAR next time we come up we will make time to visit with everyone.... And people are more than welcome to make the trek to come see us........

Back to work tomorrow for the last four shopping days before Christmas!
